What is the benefit of consolidated billing?

With WVA, you only have to worry about one monthly statement, for all frame, lab and contact lens needs! WVA combines all monthly purchases onto one easy-to-read statement for your convenience. Only paying one bill means time savings for you!

How do I become a member of WVA Buying Group?

First you’ll need to fill out the member application form. After you have submitted your application via email or fax, a member of the WVA team will contact you with your account number and verify your membership. (Click here for membership application)

Is there a fee to become a member of WVA Buying Group?

No. There is no fee to join the buying group – membership is free. (Click here for membership application)

What is the admin fee for the WVA Buying Group?

The WVA Buying Group charges an administration fee of 2.5% for all accounts that pay by check postmarked by the due date posted on your statement. Accounts that choose to pay by credit card will be assessed a 4% administration fee (to cover credit card processing).

Does WVA charge any additional fees?

The only additional fee that WVA may assess is a maintenance fee in the case that an account has not paid their bill by the payment due date. If a bill is not paid, the buying group discount will be rescinded and a 2% fee may be added to your account.

How do I start using my account?

You can begin using your account as soon as you place your first order with a WVA Buying Group vendor. When you call to place your order, tell them that you would like to be billed through WVA Buying Group (you will only need to tell them on the initial order – all orders going forward will be automatically billed through WVA). The vendor will then contact WVA to verify your membership so that you can receive great discounts! Please note that all forms must be submitted to WVA before you contact your vendors.

Do I have to maintain a monthly minimum to stay a member of the WVA Buying Group?

No, at WVA we understand that your purchasing will fluctuate. We do not have a minimum billing amount for you to remain a member of the WVA Buying Group. (Some vendors may require a minimum piece purchase – that is at the vendors discretion and something WVA holds no control over.)

What if I don’t see one of my vendors on the current vendor list?

If you don’t currently see one of your vendors or suppliers on the current vendor list, it’s no problem! Just contact Katie Pingle at 800.747.9000 x8141 with who you would like to see added and we will work with the vendor to get them on board as an approved WVA Buying Group vendor.

What are WVAs payment terms?

Payment is due by the date posted on your WVA statement.

Does WVA accept credit card payment?

Yes, WVA will gladly accept credit card payment, however in order to cover the processing fee that WVA is charged by the credit card companies, accounts paying by credit card will be assessed a 4% administration fee. In addition, any account that chooses to pay by credit card will automatically have their bill processed the 7th of each month.

Can I pay my account electronically?

Yes, WVA can withdraw funds electronically from your checking or savings account. This will be done automatically on the 12th of each month, and an ACH debit form needs to be completed before we are able to accept this type of payment.

Does WVA refund the admin fee for returned items?

Due to the data that we get from vendors that is all in different formats, No, WVA cannot return the admin fee for any returned items. However, the amount that we receive from the vendor for the return goes directly back to you as a credit that you may use with ANY WVA Buying Group vendor, or contact lens purchases!
